Our professional guide will meet you for a morning pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Hotel in Nairobi. We depart for Shampole conservancy. We arrive in time to settle in and have lunch at Shampole Wilderness Camp followed by afternoon game drive and time in the photography hide. The Shampole conservancy is located in a hot and dry region The Ewaso Nyiro river flows through the area bringing from the Mau highlands that support the wildlife, the people and their livestock who coexist together in the conservancy.

Today's activities focus on enjoying one of the most productive wildlife photography hides in Kenya. The Shampole hide is located in open plain with broad vistas, We will start early and bring breakfast with us so we can arrive in the hide in time to view the spectacular sunrise shots to the east. The hide also offers Mt. Shampole as a backdrop to the south and Nguruman escarpment to the west. The hide is located near a watering hole that is visited throughout the day and night by incredible variety of wildlife including the big cats, zebras, wildebeest, elephants and giraffes as well as small mammals such as porcupines.

After a hearty breakfast at Shampole wilderness camp, we will spend part of the morning on a scenic game drive through small maasai villages and some of the most beautiful landscapes in Kenya. We arrive at Olkiramatian conservancy in time for lunch at Lentorre lodge. The lodge is located in a spur running off the Nguruman escarpment beside a natural spring that attracts variety of animals both large and small. The Olkiramatian conservacy is a maasai community initiative project to protect their heritage and traditional lifestyle while protecting the wildlife and their habitats. After lunch we will go on an afternoon game drive and visit Olkiramatian photography hide. We will stay until sunset for a maximum use of hide, returning to the lodge for dinner and relaxing around a bonfire.

After breakfast at Lontorre lodge, we depart for Kenya's finest animal reserve - The Maasai Mara, we arrive in the afternoon for lunch at Base camp in Maasai Mara. After settling in we go on a late afternoon game drive returning to the camp for dinner and relaxation. The Mara is home to all the Big five and well known for its key role in supporting the herd of zebra, wildebeest and other grazing animals that follows the great migration.

Today we wake up before dawn for once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a Maasai sunrise. After a quick cup of coffee or tea, we'll head into the park as sunrise light up the savannah, Early morning is an active time for Mara as large pride of lions take advantage of the cool temperatures to search for a meal. We 'll return to the camp for a late breakfast before packing a picnic lunch and heading back into the reserve for a long exploration of the Masai Mara. We will return to the camp for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast at base camp, we continue to explore the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives through a land of break taking vistas, abundant wildlife and endless plains. The quintessential Maasai Mara safari delivers many attractions as the reserve is home to an excellent year round concentration of game. Lunch and dinner will be at the camp. Tonight we will rest and sleep to music of nature - of lions roaring and hyenas laughing.

This morning after a hearty breakfast at the camp, we will return to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon.. We will pack lunch boxes for picnic lunch along the way. We will stop at the scenic Rift valley view point located about half way between Masai mara and Nairobi. Drop off at the Airport or back to your Hotel.
